It’s just a few short weeks to Fairford Football Festival and the Club’s End of Season Presentation Day.

Kicking off at noon, the Festival will feature a whole host of fun and games throughout the day.

Our friends from The Cotswold Chippy will be on hand to serve up their finest fish and chips, while the Club’s own ‘Match Snacks’ kitchen will be open to offer teas, coffees, soft drinks and more as well as crisps, sweets and other snacks.

A selection of rides, including a coconut shy will add some traditional fun of the fayre, while SK Party Solutions will be joining us with a variety of inflatables.

The team from Swindon Town in The Community will be also be joining us or the day and offering football-themed activities while the pitches will be available for those looking to have a kick-about.

The World Cup will be in full swing by the 23rd and with that in mind, a Panini sticker swapshop will be available to offer collectors the chance to track down those all-important stickers, while the matches between South Korean and Mexico and Germany and Sweden will be screened, so there’s no need to miss a minute of the action – kick back with a beer and enjoy the FIFA World Cup at Fairford Football Festival, all from the comfort of a Flint and Lambourn Marquee!

Of course, there’s a reason for all this – fund raising! The Club has some big plans for the coming weeks, months and years, but in order to get there we need to raise funds for the Club and as part of that, the Club is running a sports memorabilia auction and a raffle. The auction will feature signed shirts and footballs, match tickets and more, while the raffle will include items such as tickets for the Cotswold Wildlife Park, event tickets, gifts and more.

Last but not least, the Club’s coaches will be presenting the all-important End of Season awards – each age group will be awarded trophies for the likes of ‘Parents Player’, ‘Player’s Player’ and ‘Manager’s Player’.

As well as all that, the Festival is an ideal opportunity to come to Horcott Road and meet players, coaches and volunteers that run the Club. Maybe you’re looking for a new Club for the 2018-2019 season, maybe you’re taking your first steps into football, there’s no better time to come and meet the Club.

It all kicks off at 12 noon on Saturday 23rd of June – we hope to see you there!
