NEWS: FYFC answer the £64,000 question!

Fairford Youth Football Club is delighted to announce the award of a £64,000 Football Foundation grant to the Club.

The Football Foundation is the UK’s largest sports charity and exists to improve the experience of playing football for everyone, by championing fair access to quality facilities.

With training now returning, and with plans for a safe return to league football in place, the grant from the Football Foundation will allow FYFC to make improvements to both the pitches at Horcott Road and the Club House. Continue reading “NEWS: FYFC answer the £64,000 question!”

Based on the latest Government advice to avoid all non essential social contact, the League has opted to postpone this weekend’s fixtures. 

The Government has also said that “support” for gatherings will be withdrawn – we have therefore decided to postpone indefinitely any training to minimise any risks to children/coaches should they be injured.

We hope that all our players, parents, grandparents and carers can understand our reasoning. Stay safe, take care and we look forward to welcoming you back to football as soon as possible!

Statement from the NWYFL regarding Covid-19

Statement from the League regarding Coronavirus:

At this time the NWYFL Management Committee is monitoring the official Government advice, in line with the current advice we are continuing the League as normal.

When that advice changes such that our activities are impacted or the FA issue explicit actions we need to adhere to, then we will make the appropriate decisions and will communicate them.
