The Club’s AGM will be held on 11th May, from 7pm at the Palmer Hall, Fairford. All coaches, parents, relatives, volunteer and players are welcome. The AGM also sees the election of committee members.
The current committee is comprised of Adam Sloman (Chair), Chris Drabwell (Vice Chair/Safeguarding support), Jason Winter (Club Secretary), Alan Stratford (Club Development Officer), Becky Taylor (Safeguarding Lead) and Sarah Sloman (Committee Member)
There is currently a vacancy for Club Manager – the roles and responsibilities for the role are detailed below:
- Support the registered teams and their team managers
- Support Chairman in leading and developing the Club
- Look for opportunities and organise fund raising opportunities for the club Arrange training facilities
- Ensure appropriate kit is available for playing and training
- Organise presentation evening, 6-a-side and other activities
- Lead the club to achieve the grading of FA Charter Standard
- Hold regular team manager meetings
- Attend NWYFL League meetings
- Represent the club in a positive and professional manner. Attend regular committee meetings
In addition, our current Club Treasurer, Ross Daniel, is looking to stand down after 3 years in the role. This means we will be looking to find a new volunteer for the role – Ross will continue in the role, supporting the new treasurer with a detailed handover before he fully stands down. The role of treasurer is vital to our Club, and while the role might seem daunting, Ross’ excellent work over the last 3 years means the Club’s finances are in good order and ready to hand over. The roles and responsbilities for the Treasurer are detailed below:
- Responsible for the finances of the club
- Process income and expenditure of the club ensuring the best use is made of club funds
- Ensure that an audited set of accounts is available for each years AGM
- Represent the club in a positive and professional manner
- Attend regular committee meetings
- Abide by the code and conduct of the football club
