A flurry of goals either side of half-time gave AFC Newbury victory over Fairford & Lechalde Youth in the North Wilts Youth League Under 12 Cup Final.

Having threatened to score throughout the first half, Newbury took the lead just before the break when Ben Waters smashed the ball home.

Newbury doubled their lead just one minute into the second half when Miguel Zeferino weaved his way into a shooting position and fired into bottom left hand corner.

And moments later they found themselves 3-0 up when Jack Cooper tapped home a rebound from close range to secure cup glory.
