Typically the only fancy footwork you see at Horcott Road is from the players, but during the Coronavirus lockdown, the Farrell School of Dance<\/a> have been taking to the pitches!<\/p>\n

Farrell School of Irish Dance have been running since 2007, and are regular visitors to Fairford, taking part in the well known Fairford festival & Christmas light switch on.<\/p>\n

Clare Crocker, Dance Teacher at Farrell School of Irish Dance said “We\u2019re very lucky to have produced many excellent dancers over the years from the local area and now more than ever we need to put in the extra effort into our practise sessions since we\u2019ve had 14 weeks off from seeing our dance family.”<\/p>\n

FYFC Chairman Adam Sloman said “We want Horcott Road to be a space that can benefit as much of the local community as possible – the space means that it’s perfect for something like this – the kids can get back to the dancing that they love, and stay safe and socially distance. We’re really pleased to be able to help them.” <\/p>\n

As well as the Farrell School, the popular Fairford Bootcamp<\/a> has recently returned to Horcott Road. Run by personal trainer Kirk Holland, the sessions are run on Wednesdays and Saturdays. “Again, it’s another way that we can offer our space to the local community” said Adam “The bootcamp started back in February and they’ve been brilliant – the virus meant that everything stopped for a while, but now Kirk’s been able to get the sessions running again, which is great news.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
