Fairford Youth Football Club<\/strong> <\/span>is thrilled to announce it has been awarded Chartered Standard status by the Football Association. <\/p>\n

What The FA Charter Standard means for clubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clubs achieving The FA Charter Standard status can be proud to be the best place for people to play and enjoy football. They are able to demonstrate positive football environments where people can develop their skills, keep fit and enjoy playing as part of a friendly, inclusive community.<\/p>\n

In return for becoming accredited FA Charter Standard clubs receive access to benefits that help to attract and retain players, volunteers and supporters. The level of support and resources available will depend on the level of accreditation a club achieves. Benefits clubs experience include:<\/p>\n

– Attract and retain players, supporters and volunteers
\n– Funding for football equipment
\n– Access to promotional resources and guidance
\n– Tailored support from The FA and County FAs<\/p>\n

Club Development officer Alan Stratford said “This means that as a Club we can do more for the Children that play for Fairford, and support our coaches and volunteers to go further. It’s taken a lot of work, but this is significant for the Club.” <\/p>\n

Chairman Adam Sloman agreed, adding “This is down to the efforts of some key volunteers within the Club – I have to thank Brian Say, Alan Stratford and Chris Drabwell for their efforts to help us get the Charter Standard – it’s another big step in getting the Club where it needs to be, and deserves to be, and to giving the children from across the area a Club they can be proud of.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
