Fairford and Lechlade Youth Football Club are thrilled to announce that Coventry City\u2019s Player of the Season, Dom Hyam, will be joining the Club for Presentation Day on May 18<\/strong>th<\/strong><\/sup>. <\/strong>

Dom began his football career in nearby Carterton, before joining Reading\u2019s academy in 2008. Born in Scotland, Dom has won three caps for the Under 19s, and five for the Under 21s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having graduated from Reading, Dom moved to Coventry City in\nMay 2017, playing a key role in the Sky Blue\u2019s promotion from League Two with a\nWembley Play-off final win in May 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season Dom has become one of the first names on the\nCoventry City team sheet, playing 38 matches, racking up over 3000 minutes on\nthe pitch in the 2018-2019 season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A strong, but fair centre-back, his no-nonsense style has seen him become a firm favourite with Coventry supporters, as he won both Player\u2019s Player of the Season and overall Player of the Season at Coventry\u2019s end of season awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dom will join FLYFC\u2019s coaches to hand out the Club\u2019s awards\nas well as answer questions from FLYFC\u2019s players on what it takes to make it as\na professional footballer. Dom has also donated a matchworn Coventry City shirt\nto the Club\u2019s Sports Memorabilia Auction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLYFC Chairman Adam Sloman said \u201cWe\u2019re tremendously grateful to Dom for giving up his time to come and join us on Presentation Day. It\u2019s a great opportunity for our players from every age group to spend some time with a professional. We\u2019re very much looking forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation Day kicks off at 12, with the awards being\ngiven out from 12:30. As well as the awards, the Club will be offering snacks\nand drinks from Match Snacks, the Cotswold Chippy will be on hand with their superb\nfish and chips, SK Party Solutions will be bringing a selection of fun\ninflatables once again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as all that, there\u2019s a raffle and sports memorabilia auction, including signed Liverpool shirts, a Manchester United Captain\u2019s armband, photographs, scarves and much, much more.
