Are you looking to ‘Kickstart’<\/strong><\/span> your football coaching career? Because Fairford and Lechlade can help you get involved!<\/p>\n

The Club is currently seeking a coach for our ‘Kickstart’ group for the 2018-2019 season.<\/p>\n

Kickstart is where children begin their footballing careers in this, the pre-foundation phase (4 to 6 years old) the emphasis is on developing the children\u2019s ABC\u2019s- Agility, Balance and Co-ordination. ABC\u2019s can also be referred to as athleticism. Unfortunately, today\u2019s children are not as active as previous generations, and the opportunity to develop and tune their motor functions are not as prevalent.<\/p>\n

At this age group, the focus is on having fun, playing lots of different games and engaging with the Children as the begin their footballing journey.<\/p>\n

The Club will support you with the provision of equipment, DBS check as well as the opportunity for fully-funded FA coaching courses to help you get the most from your time with the Club and with your players.<\/p>\n

You’ll also have the support of your fellow coaches, many of which began their coaching at the youngest age group. The new season will begin in August and interested parties are welcome to email fairfordlechladeyfc@outlook.com<\/a>, or better still, visit the Club’s Presentation Day on 23rd of June to learn more about the Club, meet the coaches, committee and more!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
