Given the recent disturbing news relating to young footballers, Fairford and Lechlade Youth Football Club would like to bring parents and carers up to date on the Club\u2019s coaching situation.<\/p>\n

As of today, the Club runs 9 teams, ranging from our youngest group, Kickstart, for four year olds, through to Under 18s.<\/p>\n

\nIn order to run these teams, the Club has twenty coaches, all of whom volunteer their time to FLYFC. As of 10th<\/sup> December 2016, all of these coaches have completed a full, FA-mandated Criminal Record check and all of our coaches have either completed or are currently undertaking the FA Level One Coaches course \u2013 a course that includes a module entirely dedicated to Child Protection.<\/p>\n

Together with full record checks and FA training, the Club has a detailed Child Protection Policy, which can be found here <\/a>and a designated Child Protection Officer.<\/p>\n
